Shape Audio has announced a speaker made from solid 18 karat gold.
The Swedish company only plans to make a single pair of its €5m Organic Harmony in Gold speakers.
There are other versions available however, with limited numbers available of the same speakers in silver and bronze.
There will be 99 pairs of Organic Harmony in bronze for €63,000, five pairs in Argentium Sterling Silver at €300,000 and one pair in 18 karat gold.
The Organic Harmony speakers are 135cm tall and 27cm wide, with integrated amplification plus Ethernet, analogue, digital and XLR inputs.
The five drivers are power by a 1,000-watt Class D power amplifier.
You may need some reinforcement for your floor, as all the models are on the heavy side, with the bronze weighing 95kg, silver 115kg and gold a mammoth 215kg, though each comes with a lifetime guarantee.
